Hot Stylz - Lookin Boy Feat. Yung Joc [Official Video]

What the fudge! A song full of ignorant jokes, what a creation! High-five Hot Stylz.  I don't understand what would inspire someone to write a song like this. It's not amusing, it's not cute, and it's not inspiring. What is a "Tickle Me, Elmo" lookin' boy....Mike Vick lookin' boy?" Oh, maybe it's supposed to be cool. NO! It's downright ignorant. Is this what the "rap game" is offering me? Yea, it's originality, but it's straight TRASH.

On Myspace, Hot Stylz refers to their music genre as Comedy/Rap/Happy Hardcore. What? For those that don't know, Happy Hardcore is just a form of dance music typified by a fast tempo, often coupled with male or female vocals, and sentimental lyrics. Yea, I still don't understand their standpoint.

Oh, they also said that they are breaking barriers and exposing their ignorance to the world. Well, thank you Hot Stylz! The more I listen to your lyrics, the more ignorant I get.

Oh, then they have a song called "Yo Mama got a Mustache." Is this the most creative artists can get? "Yo Mama dirty.....yo dog dirty." OMG. How about "Yo Mama" jokes are played out along with that past show on MTV.

"Ignorance is a burden." I will not be weighed down by it. Let's stop dressing like "idiots, bouncing off the walls with these absurd dances, rapping insignificant lyrics, AND start educating.

Luis and Clark

Nope that's not a mistake. I didn't mean Lois and Clark or Lewis and Clark, I meant Luis and Clark . They (Luis Leguia and Steve Clark) make the world's finest carbon-fiber instruments. They produce, violas, violins, and double basses. I found them while looking for a sleek black cello that I had seen someone playing on TV. A few years ago (in JrH) I started playing the cello and loved it but when I moved on to high school, I left my cello playing days behind. I've missed playing the cello and plan to one day go back to it, just as soon as I can get my hands on a Luis and Clark cello.

What's so special about it, you may ask? Well....

What I like about the carbon-fiber design of the cello is its lightness, and the fact that its thinner than traditional wooden cellos. The Luis and Clark only comes in one size as opposed to traditional wooden ones, which come in sizes 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and 4/4. The sleeker design of the Luis and Clark makes it a lot more comfortable to play as well. It also doesn't use as much ebony, which is an endangered tree. (I'm all for preserving the environment!)

They used to go for about $6,000 but because of production costs, the price has risen, so for a cool $7,139, that cello can be yours, and WILL be mine lol.

iWant

So, as some of you may know, the new and improved iPhone will be released in less than a month. I'm really into gadgets and wanted an iPhone since its initial release a year ago but was NOT willing to pay $600 (or 500 or 400 for that matter) for it. So I held off on it because I knew eventually, either a better phone would come out or the price would drop. Sure enough, not only did the price drop but it was later announced that a 3g (3rd generation) iPhone would be released this year. When I heard this I was really happy because, right now, I'm under contract with Sprint and my contract will be up shortly and I entertained the idea of replacing my current phone with the iPhone.

One problem I have with the iPhone, however, is the fact that it's under AT&T. My sister has a phone with AT&T and I was not impressed with the server response time (although it could have just been her phone). Another thing I have a problem with is the newly announced plan/price changes for the upcoming iPhone. Even though the phone itself starts at $199 for 8gb ($299 for 16gb) and is a about $200 less than the original, the data plan/monthly fee will rise about $10 a month. I know you're probably thinking "oh that's not so bad" and it's not for people who are paying more now (ie. me) than they would with this plan but at the same time, it's still more than the original plan and is probably a sign of things to come for AT&T.

After weighing the pros and cons of the iPhone, I've decided I will most likely get it....that is, unless something better comes out before I get a chance to purchase it ;)
